"Sing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name." Psalm 30:4

Worship is a vital part of the Freedom Road Ministries calling. The songs below are a curated selection of Hebrew and messianic worship — a soundtrack for the Aliyah journey, for intercession over Jerusalem, and for drawing close to Adonai Elohim.

What Does "Yeshua haMashiach" Mean?

The Name Above All Names

Yeshua (ישוע) is the Hebrew name for Jesus. It comes from the root yasha — meaning "to deliver, to rescue, to save." The full name Yeshua is a contraction of Yehoshua (Joshua), meaning "YHWH saves" or "God is salvation."

haMashiach (המשיח) means "the Messiah" or "the Anointed One" — the long-promised King and Redeemer of Israel, the One whose feet will one day stand on the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4).

Together, Yeshua haMashiach = "Jesus the Messiah" — spoken in the language of the Hebrew people He came to save.

Songs of Zion — Why It Matters

Worship in Hebrew connects us to the living roots of our faith. The Psalms were originally sung in Hebrew by Israel's worship leaders. When we sing songs that honor Zion, Jerusalem, and Yeshua by His Hebrew name, we stand in continuity with thousands of years of God's covenant people.

"Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth." Psalm 96:1

Hebrew Words in Worship

Psalm 122 — The Song of Jerusalem

"I was glad when they said to me, 'Let us go into the house of the Lord.' Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together… Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you."
